Farriers Benzyl Benzoate is an effective product for horses suffering from itching caused by midges and other insect bites. It works as a repellent against mosquitoes, mites, ticks, fleas, and similar insects, helping to keep your horse comfortable during insect season.
The product is especially suitable for horses prone to itching, sweet itch, or skin and coat irritation, particularly around the mane, tail, and belly. At the same time, it can also be used as a mite treatment against conditions such as mange mites and lice.
One of the major benefits of Farriers Benzyl Benzoate is its flexibility – you can create your own lotion or spray tailored specifically to your horse’s needs by diluting the product with an oil, such as Farriers Shireoil. This makes it easy to adjust both consistency and application. Although synthetically produced, the product is based on natural compounds originally derived from resin.
💡 Ideal for:
- Horses suffering from itching caused by midges and insect bites
- Sweet itch and sensitive skin
- Prevention during insect season
- Control of lice and mange mites
👉 An effective choice for both prevention and treatment – throughout the entire season.
